Two beautiful brands Borgward and Bristol rise from the ashes!
Borgward

For various reasons, but especially financial ones, plenty of car brands have disappeared over time. And we refer now to various famous brands overseas, European and even Romanian. Here, however, some brands begin to be revived.

We mentioned that certain auto brands disappeared and we miss, and that there are certain brands that have achieved many things in the automotive industry which did not deserve to die out. But there are many more than those listed by us at the time, and two of them, namely the German mark and the British Borgward Bristol, are about to be reborn like the Phoenix bird.

Borgward BX7

If GM brands, TVR or Alpine were taken and brought back on track to launch new models, why wouldn’t the germans do it also? A brand that few people know, namely Borgward, managed to launch the first models ever since last year. It's an SUV called BX7 which will be soon followed by a sedan car. However, although we cannot speak of massive sales, it is clear that something is moving and there is a market for less known brands producing fewer cars but of superior quality.

Bristol Bullet

Recently, the British from Bristol have announced that they are about to head back out of the box. The brand is now celebrating 70 years of existence and comes to the market next year with the Bullet Speedster model. A convertible car equipped with BMW V8 engine offering 370 hp.

For a 1100 kg car, is enough power for the car to reach a top speed of 250 km / h and acceleration from 0-100 km / h in just 3.8 seconds but such performance has its price: Bristol Bullet costs 250,000 Euro.

These two releases of auto brands that disappeared many years ago are proof that the industry is moving in a good way. It should also not come as a surprise not if in the near future we will see other brands that disappeared many years ago revive from the ashes.

But if we are realistic, we must say that brands like Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Trabant, Delahaye or DeTomaso are the brands more likely to see daylight again.

So, what brands do you wholeheartedly wish to be relaunched?
